A Garden Of Rooms

A country garden in the midst of the Chilterns that has been partitioned into different zones - a formal dining terrace with raised pond enclosed by tall yew hedges that leads onto a central area of lawn surrounding by sumptuous planting. Another screen of yew hedging and metal arches leads through to the small wild meadow garden with long grass, trees and a mown path to the kitchen garden - fenced in with fan trained apples. The client's sculptures positioned around the garden bring a sense of intrigue to the garden.
